Time in Tania is measured very much like it is on Earth. There are 24 hours in a day and 365 days in a year. The year is divided into twelve 30 day months. Unlike Earth, the months are divided evenly into 10-day weeks. The days of the week are: Fen, Set, Prim, Hallah, Sindara, Lorn, Mira, Jun, Din and Po.
The months of the years are: Parth,Thera, Ruan, Lind, Bando, Gord, Fy, Odian, Noa, Zirah, Non and Rella
Where the tweleve months make up 360 days of the year, the remaining five are celebrated as feast days. These days do not belong to any month and are not included in the days of the week. The five feast days are:
Light Festival (winter)
Sowing Festival (spring)
Sun Festival (summer)
Harvest Festival (fall)
Moon Festival (new year)
Various countries and cultures celebrate these festivals differently, but they are customarily days of rest and relaxation. Each culture also has it's own holidays. This first day of the year (the first of Parth) is the unoffical beginning of spring.
